The Japan Society of Medical Entomology and Zoology (JSMEZ) is an association of researchers with the same speciality, medical entomology, and related disciplines.

Founded in 1943, JSMEZ has nearly 300 members affiliated with educational institutions, private industries, health agencies, as well as government.

JSMEZ has been publishing the scientific journal, “Medical Entomology and Zoology”, since 1950.

“Medical Entomology and Zoology” publishes original articles, short communications, case reports, notes and review articles concerning entomology and zoology in medical and related fields.
